WIN ON SLOTS
By:
Robert E. Sult AOS

I have
heard people say on the Casino Floor that "I have put in $70.00 to $200.00
without any kind of jackpot. Is the machine broken." NO, its not broken
could have went the other way, put in a few Dollars and hit the Big Jackpot. Thats
way they call it gambling.
And to
make things worse, some people think that Megabucks (IGT) can set the machines to
hit at a Casino of their choice, (which they can NOT) and still believe
that there is a magic screw that will make the machine tight or loose.
And the untruths are perpetuated in the books & (VIDEO'S) and on the
Internet:
It
is all a big joke, as are prices that they charge. Below is a sample of
the garbage that they are saying, and in red lettering I will show you the
truth.
This
groundbreaking insider report reveals exactly where on the casino
Floor
the casinos are now placing those delightful "loose" Slot and
Video
Poker machines and why. They are no longer where you think they are.
Most of
the old Electro-mechanical machines are no longer on the floor;
they are mostly all electronic machines now. The Electro-mechanical
machines were better as you could say they are LOOSER then the electronic
Machines, with a lower cycle and a better-hitFrequency.

Guaranteed
to dramatically improve your odds of hitting a jackpot.
An
absolute "must have" for any Slot or Video Poker player who wants to
Walk away from the casino a winner.
THAT
IS A JOKE
They
could also say
As
popular as the modern "belly glass" machines are, perhaps the end of
belly
glass art is coming. Palo Alto-based Silicon Gaming Inc.,
which
last year introduced the wildly popular Odyssey slot machine. It
Has no
belly glass. Instead, it has one big 26-inch video monitor.
Odyssey's
astonishingly high-resolution graphics and crystal clear
Digital
sound effects lure players away from the surrounding machines.
I wonder
what they call the Belly Glass that is under the Monitor; and it lights up.
Some Odyssey games do have a Belly glass, maybe not as fancy as others.
They will say;
SLOT PAYBACKS
The
term "payback" refers the average percent of each wager that is
returned to the player. The higher the percent, the better for the
player. A machine that pays 96%, for example, will, on average, payback $96
to the player for every $100 the player puts through the machine. Keep in mind
that games of chance are very volatile, so you may get back $30 one time and
$200 another time for $100 put through that same returned to the player.
The higher the percent, the better for the player. A machine that pays
96%, for example, will, on average, payback $9 Payback directly and
dramatically affects your chance of hitting a jackpot. If you play a 96%
payback machine vs. a 89% payback machine your money will last much longer.
Say you have $10 to wager on a 25’ machine. You will be able to play not
7% longer, but, rather, 500% longer on the 96% machine vs. the 89%
machine! This means that you will have a five times greater chance of hitting a
jackpot on the 96% machine vs. the 89% machine.
Others will
say
Payout percentages vary from Casino to
Casino and even from slot to slot within a particular Casino. (That is true but the difference is not that
much and you would never see it unless you played a LOT OF MONEY) You will often see signs posted regarding the percentage of payout
particularly at the dollar carousels. You might see as high as 98.2 % payback,
this does not mean that for every 100.00 you play you will get a return of
98.20, hardly. What it does mean is that over the "long" haul the
machine will pay back the posted percentage. Calculated in all of this are the
small wins and the jackpot wins, you could put 500.00 into a dollar slot
machine and get very little back perhaps a hundred or two and even less. This
does not mean the percentage payout is incorrect, it simply, means that you
have not experienced the 98.2% payback. The next guy coming along may feed a
few dollars into the slot machine and win a jackpot. In his case the payback
far exceeded 98.2% posted on the carousel. And so you can see that over a
longer period of time it all averages out to the posted percentage.
The term
"payback" refers the average percent of all wagers that is returned
to the players at the end of the cycle of that game. Keep in mind that games of
chance are very volatile, so the average percentage should be very close
to the designed percentage at the end of the cycle, and with more cycles
in that game the closer and closer it will be.

The
Electro-mechanical machines were limited on the number of stops per reel
Because
there was just so much room on the reels. These machines would INDEX the reels,
which in turn would complete a circuit if it was a paying jackpot.
The electronic Slots are not limited to the space on the reel.
The
electronic boards would process the game and tell the reel where to stop
by
controlling
the stepper motor on the reels. Still will have just so many symbols on the
reels, but the electronic board would have anywhere from 33 66 120
200 428 stops per reel. The problem with the electronic slots, is that
they have a larger cycles.

If you

Say what

Say what

Unless
you are playing $24,000,000.00 (or close to it) you could not tell the

SLOT TIPS
& Percentage

TIPS FOR NOVICES
in red
lettering I will show you the truth.
1) Ask
the change people who work the slots or who stand inside one of The booths
making change which machine seems to be the loosest? They Watch slot play in
their casino all day long, so there's a good chance They at least have an idea
about which machines pay off. They want to Help you win, because if you do,
there's a good chance you'll give them
A nice
tip.
Sure
they will point you to a machine, but there is no guarantee that you will
hit anything; as your chance of hitting a jackpot is just as good
on
any machine.
2)
Walk the floor. Take a few minutes after you arrive to watch the play of other
players and to look at the patterns of the machines. Note which
ones
have paid a jackpot.
If you
like exercise, that is all that will do.
Machines
do not pay off in any pattern! Well none that you will notice
3)
KEEP JACKPOTS IN THE TRAY. Play your predetermined limit, then, when you take
your last pull, gather up the coins in tray and cash in. If you're down from
your original stake, return to try again another day.
Good
money management means discipline, and discipline greatly improves your chance
of walking away a winner.
I see
nothing wrong with that statement or with the statements
of
#3 - #4 - #5 - #6 - #7 - #8 - #9 - #10
Slot
machines do sometimes malfunction. Make sure all your coins register. If you're
playing "full coin" and one coin doesn't register,
you
won't get the full payout when you hit the jackpot sequence.
5)
Make sure the win amount shown matches the amount shown on the pay Schedule.
Also, don't walk away if your machine "blacks out" while Paying a
jackpot. Call an attendant who can determine if you were paid
the
full amount.
6)
Many beginning players wonder if it makes any difference if they pull
the
handle vs. pushing the button. It makes absolutely no difference.
Here
are some more things that have no effect on you odds:
how
fast you put in your coins
whether
you press the single-bet button or the max-coins button to play the
maximum bet - emptying your credits, playing in the morning during the
week when the machines are supposedly looser. Also, slot clubs do not affect
your chance of winning or losing. What being a slot club member will do is give
you more "comps" (Complementary such as rooms, meals, shows, and cash
back).
7) If
you want to keep playing a "hot" machine, the change person will hold
it for you for a few minutes. A small tip is expected.
8)
Play the maximum bet. This will hurt you during losing streaks, but you must
play "full coin" to get the biggest jackpots, and this is why you
play in the first place!
9)
Know the symbols that pay a jackpot and the jackpot amount. Slot attendants say
winners often walk away from winning machines without waiting for the rest of
the payout from a slot attendant. Remember, large non-progressive jackpots are
always paid by an attendant.
10)
The best way to know when to quit playing for a given session or a given day is
to quit as soon as you feel happy with the amount you've won. This makes
playing the slots more fun and potentially more profitable. Don't be greedy. If
you're happy with what you won, there is little chance that you will be even
happier by continuing to play. But there is a big chance you will lose your
winnings, and then be disappointed.
11)
Remember, ladies, watch your purse. There is a certain breed of thief who works
casinos exclusively. A favorite target is purses. The thief looks for a woman,
who is caught up in the excitement of play, grabs the purse, and then either
runs out of the casino, or walks away nonchalantly. If you must have your purse
with you, always keep it on your lap. Better yet, leave it in the trunk of your
car.
I would
also say keep all of you coins in front of you. IN the tray. There is a
false sense of security with the dividers between the machines.
Many
times someone will raise that divider and take your coins, They are good at
what they do. (thieves.)
12)
Never take ATM or credit cards into a casino. You may be tempted to use them
for cash advances. Never go into debt to gamble. If
you
ever do this, it is time to stop gambling for good.
Nothing
wrong with that statement.
13)
Serious slot players must seek out the highest paying machines within the
casino. Most slot machines pay out between 75% and 99% Plus of the coins/tokens
they take in. That doesn't seem to be an extremely wide variation, but it IS.
Whenever possible, seek out the machines in the 96-99% range and
"hit" them hard. As you might imagine, the number of casino slots
that pay out at this level are relatively few when compared to the total number
of slot machines in a given casino.
IT'S
YOUR JOB TO FIND THESE "LOOSE" SLOT
MACHINES.
Fact is,
No one can tell me they have found the 96% or 99% Slot. As I will tried to
explain.
Your Job
is to HAVE FUN....
14) Stay
away from the giant, progressive slot machines -- those that are linked to
other progressive machines in other casinos such as "Quarter mania."
The odds are incredibly low that you will hit a jackpot on these types of
machines.
Sure, the
Cycle of Megabucks and games like it has a larger Cycle. But if your going to
Play (Why not have fun)..
I
would say the best tip of playing would be to forget all the misinformation
of loose slots. Go and Gamble what you can without hurting your budget.
You go
and have Fun. WIN or Loose just have
fun.
Because
there are only 2 sure ways of winning
Dont Play
(You will always be ahead)
Own the machines
(take the money to the bank)
Read the Other Pages,
I will
show you why I say that.
As it
has always Been, The Min. Percentage is set by the Gaming Control. Do know the
min. was 75% - do not think that has changed. and Most places will not go that
low.
You will
find, that kind of percentage on Nickel games in places where Many People will
be at for a short period of time. I can not spell it out any clearer then that.
